I'll start by saying that i've always wanted to stay here. Since I first saw pictures of the Palace when I was a kid to being an adult watching the Hangover. My wife booked us for my birthday and we were able to go.
Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed. The main valet is ALWAYS full. This results in needing to use the alternate in the back, which is a pain. Check in was a pain, it took an insane amount of time to even get to the desk. Once there it wasn't any faster. Although I do need to admit that the attendant was very friendly, and gave us some great restaurant recommendations.
Once we got to the room it was pretty much what you would expect. It was clean, bright, and pretty luxurious. Yet, that soon gets overlooked when you start noticing how they nickel and dime you for everything. For example, they charge you to use the provided styrofoam cups. They charge you if you reorder the dry good item (not consume, MOVE). If you open the fridge and shift a bottle to put in your water, there's a charge for that too. It got to the point where I was scared if I called the operator I would be charged for that too.
