This is going to be a mixed review. I have been coming to see Dr Schwartz for over a year now. If you live in Las Vegas you know how bad allergies get here. I have never had a problem with any treatment what so ever. Yes Dr Schwartz is definitely tough and her beside manner isn't the greatest. But she's from NY if I remember correctly and she a no nonsense kind of individual. I appreciate that. It may not be your cup of tea.
HOWEVER.....the front office needs a major adjustment. I am constantly called after I make appointments to be rescheduled and today it takes the cake and has prompted this review. My Tonsils are the size of golf balls at the moment and I called yesterday to set up an appointment for the earliest available. The receptionist I spoke to was very rude and chuckled and said the next available is more than 2 weeks away....which I found extremely odd. I said "there aren't any cancelations?" And she said no...I said well I can't wait 2 weeks I guess I'll have to go somewhere else...to which she replied you do that and hung up on me.
So I woke up today and my tonsils are so swollen they are touching each other in the back of my throat causing me to gag. So I called again today @130 pm and they said there was an opening today @215. 45mins!! Sweet!!! Great thank you see you then!! So I live by the air force base which is like a 40 minute drive so I got off the phone and started to high tail it over there. On my way 10 minutes later the office calls and says "Hi this is dr Schwartz office". I said yes... "Did you call about 10 minutes ago??".. Sure did... Well.. The other receptionist was booking an appointment for the same time..can we reschedule you..."no... I actually already left and am on my way"... I said. Why don't you call the other person and ask them. I've already left and am on my way. *silence...."well I'm driving so I shouldn't be on the phone see you all shortly".
Fast forward it's now 330.. I'm still waiting in the lobby and I haven't been seen or asked anything about insurance or what ever. Such a joke!!! I can't wait to tell dr Schwartz about my experience!! Heads will roll!
