  • I can honestly say I'm very impressed with everything about Smart Style. I did not have an appointment and they still took me in for cut/color around 3pm on a Monday. When I arrived there were two hairstylists working, one was at register and the other was working on a client. There wasn't anyone ahead of me waiting in line, but for the services I requested I was asked to wait 20-25 minutes until the busy stylist was available. (The stylist available at register said that her shift was ending soon and she wouldn't have enough time to finish, and that it would be best if only one stylist was working on my hair) Initially I was a bit hesitant about getting my hair cut and colored here because most people believe that salons located within grocery stores aren't of very high caliber, but my hairstylist Janice proved that belief wrong! I explained every detail of my cut/color to her as well as showed her a picture of what I wanted and I received exactly that. Customer service was EXCELLENT!! She conversed with me throughout the process and thoroughly explained what exactly she was doing to my hair. I was initially told that the look I wanted to achieve would take anywhere from 2-3 hours, and though it took a little bit longer than that, I appreciate Janice taking the extra time to perfect every detail. As a perfectionist myself, I understand the need to make everything as perfect as it can be, and Janice explained to me that every hairstylist there will always try to make their client look their very best & would not let their client go walking around with a hideous cut/color. After my hair was finished I was recommended a few different products that will help to retain my color. I would definitely recommend that anyone looking for an amazing cut or color should book an appointment with Janice.
