| - This would likely be only 2 stars in other metropolitan cities, but this is one of the few ethnic markets in Cleveland [if you know of any others, let me know!] where you can buy delicacies from around the world, especially central America, regions of Africa, and South America. For its relative selection, 4 stars.
Stopped on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised to see a small West African selection with sorghum in kilo bags, indigenous baby food, sodas, sauces, and more.
As Karen mentioned, some of the products are Goya although there's more of them than at Marc's.
I've heard the owner speak before at a planning meeting, this place is bringing in quite a few people and they're even moving across the street to expand. The current place as is, is relatively cramped, but if you've shopped abroad, you know that American grocery aisles are extremely spacious in comparison.
There's a full deli, frozen foods including whole fish and goat, and a small selection of wine and beer (although the only African one is Tusker).
Deserves another visit.
