  • This place is an essential summertime drinking spot. Its good for dates, good for bar hopping, and good for taking people you are looking to impress by bringing something different to the table. After all.... What is more fun than drinking a fancy mixed drink out of a coconut or tiki glass? The answer is drinking a fancy mixed drink in a coconut or tiki glass on a back patio that is filled with sand! The indoors of the place is a pretty chill lounge with decent booths and seating area. The front patio is small but being in the heart of Little Italy can provide some interesting people watching. But really, its the back patio which makes this place what it is. Its filled with sand and has a cool tropical volcano mural on the wall which creates a great little vibe back there. DJ's are hit and miss. I've heard through the grapevine that this is in part due to the bar owners doing some questionable things like double booking the nights and underpaying dj's (which explains why there aren't many established dj's playing this place), but this is more of a place thats good to stop in for a drink or two rather than spending a whole night there anyways so the dj's have never been a make or break issue.
