| - What is it with me and 3 star reviews? I guess I feel its better then 2 (stuff happens) and not close to 4.Yes, pricey when considering minimum orders, delivery orders and etc....
Yes, sometimes things do not go right with an order.
Ive used this service twice. once was horrible. Not the restaurants fault, it fell squarely on foodie call.
2nd order was far better. not great, but better/acceptable. Order was quite late with minimal communication from Foodie.
No, food was not hot. Lukewarm is best to describe'
But we did get our food, albeit later then expected. It was all here and after reheating, it was all acceptable.
I do hope they get better and in time I think they will in this quickly expanding and much needed industry. Time will tell.
There are many food delivery services popping up and each have a gold mine in front of them if they can work out the kinks. Im willing to give foodie a 3rd or 4th chance and give them time to work out their kinks.
With their kinks they do need to expand. Draw a 5 mile circle of my home in matthews and there is a plethora of restaurants they can hook up with. But at the very least, foodie is legit...Many more legit delivery services popping up in this area and for good reason.
Its a gold mine for any food delivery service in this area....in any area, IF YOU ARE LEGIT/work out the kinks which most consumers will be patient with as they implement things to eliminate/minimize the kinks and etc, I think its a great service and much needed service... The Key question with so many entering this industry, who wins the war and gets it done 1st? Plenty of room for 3 services in this area to be hugely successful.
I look at/use/break down each service offered. Its hard when you know what the kinks are, how to fix them and become leader, or one of the leaders of a very highly profitable industry, but the easy kinks are ignored. Give me less then 30 days with any of the legit ones, and they will be #1. Guaranteed. Its almost sad most every kink can be solved quite easily and quickly and put them at the top of this gold mine...
My main question is why isnt DoorDash listed on yelp? The only places they are listed are listed on sites that show a very deceptive company or on their financials since they are getting public funding, which is public record. Considering the USAG is up their butt more then likely, could be why their issues are growing in giant leaps and bounds,,,, but I am only assuming. I do not work in this industry but I can say without hesitation, if you work for, DD, are a customer, or a restaurant listed on their site, you will likely be sorry and make sure you have the $$'s for a good attorney.
Give foodie call and others a shot...give time for them to work out the kinks....then use em and form your own conclusion. Dont listen to me...listen to yourself and form your own conclusion/opinion.
I do suggest avoiding DD at all costs. Period. But im just a reviewer. I have no cards in this game. Do your own due diligence and form your own conclusions, do your own due diligence and then act upon it.....TONS of public info available...Dont ignore it...This isnt info from a mb poster. Its true. Its factual, public and its available to anybody....
