  • There are so many curmudgeons on yelp! If you are looking for something like Red Robin or some other kitschy trash heap where you can get your fruity margarita with a bendy straw and a free glass too (!)... this is not the place for you. Handlebar is a beautiful, new bar on Mill with an amazing selection of craft beers, bottled and draft, and a limited (but tasty) selection of the food.... the phrase "bar and grill" is too broad. This is a modern American Pub that also serves locally-crafted (and mighty tasty) pretzels and bratwursts. The waitstaff are all very friendly and accommodating, as are the security team (which is something you don't expect). If you're not used to the Mill club scene, the music will be blaring on weekend nights (you cant even hear you own thoughts!), but that is why it is better as a day-drinking or weekday night haunt. Great beers, great food, a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere (except on Fri & Sat nights). Give Handlebar a try next Tuesday, their Happy Hour is 3.30-6, and the beer is GREAT! ps- Tyler and Pierce and Kylee are awesome servers. Ask for them.
