  • Absolutely terrible experience when needing help with looking for Volvo OEM parts! We have a bunch of Volvos in our family. In the last recent week or so I started looking for brakes and rotor for both my 2015 S60 and my 2005 S60. So being a Volvo guy, I decided to call Volvo. Asked for Parts and got connected with a guy named Levi. When asking him for the rotor sizes he was reluctant to give me part numbers or sizes on any part because he said "well, are you going to get aftermarket rotors and stuf?" I said "yes, depending on prices from Volvo stores (assuming this is when he starts trying to sell me on the parts)" he said "well I don't understand why I would be giving you part numbers and help you out if your not even giving me a chance to make a sale". At that point he had not even attempted to sell me anything but instead just choose to be complicated the whole time! WHY WOULD I BUY SOMETHING FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE! AND YOUR THE MANAGER? I personally always considered Volvo to be a higher-end company, after a few not so good visit there I'm starting to reconsider. He also gave me all kinds of wrong information, one simple call to autozone and they gave me part numbers, sizes, and recommendations (Bosch and so on, the brands Volvo use, and of course recommended Volvo OEM also). He continued with "well if we're not making a sale then it doesn't make sense to just help and give part numbers out" like are you kidding me? I bought my car in cash, I take my car in for services; least they can do is do what every other Volvo dealership does and HELP OUT THE CUSTOMERS. Like my god, my wife even recorded my phone call with this guy because she even heard him being a rude over the phone calling me "guy" over and over and being complicated. Absolutely disappointing to the 9th degree. Next time I go into Volvo (which I'm doing soon) I'll make sure to have a talk with Eric the Operation Manager and whomever else I can to make sure someone addresses this. This was a terrible experience and I'm very happy I'm not giving them a red cent on this repair for my car. Btw for anyone who owns a Volvo, just know that once you get a part number from your local Volvo, take the part numbers online and check with other dealerships, it might cost $300 at the Vegas one but only $150 in a Georgia dealership (hence why your able to get part numbers info, typically hassle free!) Always check the other stores to make sure they aren't trying to get you for $600 like Vegas did with me. What a disappointment... Will edit or change if their performance ever changes.
