  • Gonna preface this by saying that this is not a "bad-3". If I could give this place 3-1/2 stars, I would! Have stayed in the area before, and for the price and location, the place has got a good vibe going. The aesthetics are modern/hipster (with a small touch of industrial look), and the lobby is a giant gaming area with foosball, pinball machines, etc. They've got many smaller lounge / work spaces (with Macs!) conducive to small groups of convo and collaboration, and lots if windows/sliding doors to the pool area. They are very clearly geared towards the 20-something demographic, though, so they were skimpy on other things. Note that the rooms aren't really geared towards families, or business professionals needing comfort or high-end services. For some reason, they stuck me in an ADA room, so not sure if this had impact - but the room lacked comfie chairs/furniture. Decor was nice and modern. Again, because I think their demographic was single 20-something, they don't offer your typical high-end services. Not that I use those, but for example, they don't have irons/ironing boards in any of the rooms; they dedicated a special room on the floor for this; the room had a chintzy ironing board, and cheap-ass chintzy iron that did not iron my shirt very well at all..! Oddly enough, the room was equipped with comfy chairs and such in which your friends can watch you...iron..?!?! The fitness room was OK in that they actually provided one, but again, the equipment was not sturdy nor high-quality at all, and it made me want to get my work out done and over with! Lastly, make note that check-in desk is connected to the bar, to twas easy to miss when you walk in. Though this was a great place to try, and one of the better ones, it wasn't exactly my style, so I might stick with my other go-to place whenever I'm in the area...
