| - Glad I finally tried this place. Food was ornate, flavorful, beautifully presented. A delicate blend of flavors. My dish the Chiles En Nogada was very Autumn like. Aromatic, sweet... Chicken, apples, pears, pecans, onions, garlic, almonds chopped and stuffed into a Poblano chile, lightly covered with a nice almond cream sauce. To one side a dash of cilantro, bits of Pomegranate on the other. Everything tasted like it was meant to be there, every ingredient made perfect sense together, leaving a smile after each bite. This dish was unique and like nothing I have tasted elsewhere. As previous reviewers have mentioned, yes this place is a bit more on the nicer, upscale side, I suppose if pressed I would call it some sort of creative Mexican fusion. If you are looking for dive-y authentic burritos, tacos and enchiladas this is not the place, there are a million other places in the area offering that style of Mexican food where the Mexican folk are lined out the door. I love those places just as much... for everything that they have to offer. Now if you want a unique, original, clever, new take on the Mexican dining experience then you should definitely give this place a try and see for yourself what all the hype is about.
