rev:text	What started off as what may have been a three star maximum review bumped back up to four! Got more than my money's worth (even though I did book through Hotwire) so I'll elaborate why. I came down for a week to scout out a new home as I was relocating from California for a job opportunity, and this was my home base for the week. PROS: -Went above and beyond to accommodate: THIS is my biggest reason for 4 stars, be it my room was STILL not ready at 5:30pm when check-in is at 3pm. To make this right, they upgraded me to a king suite that was ready from a standard. And they kept me in that room since I had to make two separate bookings as to extend my stay. So shoutout to Brandon at front desk for making that happen! -Free breakfast every morning with plenty of choices! The biscuits and gravy tasted funny but everything else was great! And it's best to get there early (6:30 am start), especially on the weekends. -Clean and up to date room! -Pool was clean and cool, perfect for the Arizona heat relief (which was not usual for May to be close or in triple digits) -Social hour in the late afternoon with cheese n veggie platters and different wines served. -Comfy beds! -Within short distance of many things to do or go -Staff treat you like family...maybe it was because of the length of my stay (not a dysfunctional family) CONS: -Workout center left much to be desired aside from being clean and functional...maybe some free-weights or a more functional multi-purpose cable lift machine. -The location's odd, its' right off two highways (I-10 and route 143) and on a corner where you can only turn one way with no immediate u-turn (South 48th), and another really busy stretch into Tempe (Broadway) that you have to access near a rather sketchy-looking strip mall and liquor store. -Need to have more staff for the breakfast hours, there were times where foods kept running out and took a while to replenish. -Yes, they took care of me to put me into a better room to make up for not having the one I reserved ready...but nonetheless that could cause issue with other people, especially if there are no reasonable solutions available. For what I paid, more than happy with my stay!
