  • If I could give Dr. Rick Martin and his staff at Tranquil Dental Care more than five stars, I would. I've been seeing Dr. Martin for nearly three years, and every time I go in for a visit, I'm more impressed. He is the most attentive, knowledgeable and skilled medical professional I've ever encountered in my years of living in several locations across the country - and this is not an exaggeration. Here are several examples of why I speak so highly of Dr. Rick Martin and his staff: 1. Dr. Martin takes the initiative to keep up with what is happening in both the Dental industry as well as the insurance industry. Contrary to the popular belief that most health care professionals take the time to stay abreast of their respective disciplines, this is often not the case; however, it very obvious that Dr. Martin does take the time. 2. Dr. Martin constantly researches new Dental technology, and invests in this technology. As a patient, I have benefited from several new tools that Dr. Martin has added to his practice. This is an extremely important quality for a dental professional to have in today's world of medicine. 3. Dr. Martin keeps his staff happy. This is clear because his staff remains consistent, and it is obvious they enjoy working in his office. Not to mention, the hygienists in his office are top-notch. 4. Dr. Martin takes the time to explain things. I recently had to get my first crown, and all three of my available options were clearly explained to me - both in terms of quality/longevity as well as cost. Per my request, Dr. Martin shared his personal recommendation, but still let me decide which direction I wanted to go (I took his well-explained recommendation). The bottom line is that Tranquil Dental Care is a true, five-star establishment. It is a perfect example of how all health care providers should operate - collaboratively, involving the patient. I recently relocated to the East Valley from downtown, but I will definitely make the trip to keep Dr. Martin as my dentist. You should definitely consider making an appointment if you don't love your current dentist. Do yourself a favor and give Tranquil Dental Care a try! What do you have to lose? Only your teeth, right?
