  • Mastodon is a great shop. Very professional, clean, and friendly. A lot of times, when you walk into a tattoo shop, it feels like you just stepped into the wrong bar, and you had better get the f$!@ out before somone walks up and shanks you. Well, you really couldn't hope to meet a nicer couple of guys than the owners of Mastodon, Shane and Brandon. As if that isn't enough, the amount of talent in the shop is staggering. Laney does all of my tattoos now, and I've been extremely enthused with every one of them. Brandon, El, Jimmy, and Isaac are all great, as well, and I hope to get work done by all of them soon. They have an artist for pretty much every style you could want, and all of them do a fantastic job of having their own style and making it shine when it's called for. As if THAT isn't enough, they're priced very reasonably, and can frequently get you in for an appointment on the same day, or if not that quickly, within a day or two. As far as piercings go, I don't have any, but I've seen Shane do piercings, and he definitely knows what he's doing. Like I said earlier, very professional, clean, and friendly. If you live in the valley or are just passing through and looking for a place to get tattooed or pierced, definitely go into Mastodon!
