We started going to the bagel cafe in 96 when they opened. When we werr living in Vegas this became my favorite breakfast place. I think while pregnant I ate here once a week. Sadly, 14 years ago we moved to Cali and we haven't been back to the bagel Cafe since. On our trip back to Vegas this week we made the drive from the strip so I could eat here again and see if it lived up to my fond memories. It smelled the same upon entering had the same great, friendly service and as always it was busy but they never rush you. This is the best deli I have been to (sorry NY spots). This visit I had a meat combo sandwich of corned beef and pastrami on rye. Just as I remember it! Perfection! Yum house made pickle on the side and cole slaw that is somehow not too sweet, has great flavor and not dry like every other deli out there. My family members each had breakfast items which made me remember how insane I was for their bagels! We ended up at the deli counter on our way out for bagels and cream cheese to go so I could bring them back to Cali with me. They were kind enough to give me a bag of ice to keep the cream cheese cold on our drive back. Can you tell how much I love Bagel Cafe? Yum!!!
