  • Normally I don't write reviews for fast food places but with time to kill today I just couldn't resist writing about this little gem of a place in Independence. It's the Chipotle closest to work so we are pretty much obligated to go there every other week. For the life of me though I cannot figure out why the chicken burritos here taste awful compared to other locations. I've been to three other Chipotle's in the city and they are all well stocked and taste excellent. The chicken at this location always... ALWAYS... tastes burnt. No not just a little singed on the edges... I'm saying it tastes like they scraped the charred residue off the grill and dumped it right into your burrito burnt. Plus they are always out of something like sour cream, or chicken, or steak, or chips, or tomato salsa... it's always something. Don't know what the manager there is thinking to allow his location to run out of something basic like chicken or sour cream an hour before the lunch rush starts on a weekday. Do yourself a favor and go to a different location if you have the choice.
