EXPERIENCE / CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Experience#1: Not a good first impression as they were cleaning up from a party the night before and were quite disorganized. People were talking loudly around me to each other, as if I wasn't even there. Not the calming experience I expect when I go for a massage at a 'spa'.
Experience#2: They offered me a complimentary manicure / pedicure because of my initial experience (very smart, great customer service decision). The second time was more calming when I walked in but in the end, I wasn't happy with the results.
MASSAGE:
The massage was good and she was definitely knowledgable. I paid $135 + tip for the 1 hour massage (higher than the quoted price on the website at the time). Based on the price alone, I'd rather go to a spa such as Hamma and get the added benefits of the relaxation room and steam room.
MANICURE/PEDICURE:
I was expecting an extremely relaxing environment, lots of massage time and perfect nails. Instead, I sat in relatively uncomfortable silence (no magazine, no music, no distractions) for 2 hours. The seat was uncomfortable, my feet were soaking in a curved bowl so I had to be careful not to tip it over and I was left wondering how often they did this service as it did not feel organized at all. Nothing about the process is professional. Warning that they don't have proper pedicure chairs. The polish was so imperfect that I removed it after a day. It's shocking to me that they can charge $75 for this service.
I will not be returning.
