| - Property manager and staff have failed to provide satisfactory customer service and failed to timely follow through with services promised.
I've officially requested at least 5 times to have my living windows fixed so that they can be easily opened. However, at the time of this complaint, one window will not open at all and the other only opens about a third. The property manager Tiffany and office staff insist a glass company inspected the windows but I can attest that they have not been fixed and are still unusable. My bathtub floor was cracked and upon reporting it, I was told by the property manger that it would be fixed at my convenience. The property manager told me I couldn't use the tub for 48 hours after repair so I requested it be done on a Friday and I left the apartment that weekend. Upon returning, there was notice stating that I had to wait yet another 48 hours before using the tub. When I was finally able to reach the property manger she advised that she was out of the office when the repair company informed them that the work would be extensive and require more time. The repair left my bathroom covered in a film of debris, for which I was compensated by the property manager $75. The latest issue is that the property manager promised that my kitchen counters would be redone on 11/23/15 and instructed me to clear the counters. However, no one came and she was on vacation for over a week 11/19/15-11/30/15 so I was unable to reach her by phone and email. The counter tops were finally fixed 11/30/15. The property manager assured me that the fumes would not be toxic, however I spent that night coughing, eyes and nose burning, and head aching. I visited an urgent care 12/1/15 and the physician advised that the fumes triggered asthma-like symptoms. I was prescribed 4 medications as a result of this visit. I had to sleep with the windows that could open, open in 40 degree weather. I emailed the property manager regarding my experience and received no response. It is generally difficult to get in touch with the property manager and the office staff. They hardly answer the phone and often don't respond to emails. The entire time the property manager has been there she has referred to my lease as ending in 02/2016. I received a notice on my door indicating that my lease ends 02/2016, but upon visiting the office to submit my notice to vacate, I was told the lease I signed ends 03/2016. When I spoke with the property manager via phone to confirm which date is true, she advised 02/2016 then changed and said 03/2016. Inconsistencies like these are exactly why this place has been a nightmare. I've never had a worse experience with a property.
