| - if you live here or are considering living here....Run Run Run so faraway. This is an update to a prior post. We lived here for 7 or 8 yrs. Never late on rent, gave a sixty day notice. Moved out in about, 40 days, but still had access to apt. they're trying to charge us for filthy carpet that had Maggots in it at the back sliding door., at time of move in. They wouldn't change it. They sent Steam cleaners to kill them. I kept telling my husband that something was making me so sick in that apt., and he thought it was my imagination. But then I got cancer twice stage 4 in the thyroid, ( a side affect of BLACK MOLD) lost my dog to Thyroid cancer while living there, still had access to apt, so had a mold test done in the master bath, they're trying to charge us for carpet cleaning to which they ripped out, took pictures of everything.trying to charge us for new paint,so still having access Now they are suing us. for 1073.00. I just got the notice, and now I will file a countersuit, for health and medical bills, and the loss of my dog. Pictures alone will tell the story.They stained over the mold at the bar,(Pictures) to which I have photos., They've remodeled and tried to charge us for paint, and they have put in laminate would floors, instead of carpet cleaning....(again pictures) will tell a story. I have been waiting for this a... to file suit. Now it's on!!! A countersuit will be filed, but for so much more. Bascom, you will loose this suit, and I don't care how much money you have! I have had enough of people like you, now I'm fighting back.
STAY AWAY FROM VILLA SERENA APTS. COSMETICALLY THEY'VE HIDDEN THE MOLD, BUT I CAN PROVE OTHERWISE!!!!!
And 1 more thing i might add, in Feb. 2012, They came in with hazmat suits protecting themselves to do the 1st bathroom,(NEVER DID THE MASTER BATH) and this went on for 8 weeks, and we had my husbands parents to be flying out, and they would have had to use that bathroom, but however, they were unable to come out, because of the mess. My husbands Mother passed away in 2016, and mine in 2011, and due to this mess,neither one of us got to see our Mothers before passing. Him because of the mess, and me because of the Cancer. I had been radiated and was unable to fly.
I will not stop posting on yelp about this apt. complex, and I will not stop until I win the lawsuit. I can't put money amounts on my life, health and anyone else, but I can stop people like this from con't hurting innocent renters, and people who are honest, py their rent, and abide by the law.
