| - Lived here for close to two years, and the only reason we are moving out in August is so we can finally purchase a house....Otherwise we would stay.
The floor plans are great, we are on a first name basis with both the maintenance guys and people in the front office. Any apartment maintenance issues are usually fixed within a day or two, and any complaints or concerns are usually met in a really fast and courteous manner. Not only that, but sometimes for recurring problems (our dish disposal kept jamming) the maintenance guy showed us how to fix it and told us what tool to use. We haven't had to call them back up here for that problem again.
The staff often throws events for residents...the last one we had was in December, and the big pool party they threw in the summer was a blast.
My only gripes are that I feel like there could be more doggy dump stations/more of an effort to catch and fine people who dont clean up after their dogs...some people will let their dog poop a foot in front of a doggy dump station and not clean it up. I do think that LMC has someone come and clean all of it up once in awhile, but sometimes I will take my dogs out in the morning and not have contacts in and almost step in poop several times.
Speaking of dogs, the reason we moved here was partially because of the dog park...but we never use it because its shaped like a giant bowl and it has a giant drainage tube in the middle of it....I think it may have been a drainage area for rain before they fenced it off into a dog park. We cant take our dogs because it's built like a water runoff, so anytime it rains, the dog park turns into a pond. Even when its dry, its still pretty muddy and disgusting...not to mention no one ever picks up after their dogs at all in the park.
The only other gripe is that unless you live on the top floor, you will probably hear your neighbor above you stomping around...but thats kind of expected in apartment life.
