This is like selling something at a pawn shop. You know you are going to get a really low offer but you need to decide quickly or how bad you need or want the money..The offer they made me was based on "comps" in my area.2 recent buyers in my immediate area bought homes at extremely low prices and then proceeded to renovate those homes for 60+ days or costs of ten of thousands of dollars..These are hardly "comps".... This is is good service if you inherit a home and have no intentions of ever living in that home or renting it out and just want the $$$$..I paid $272000 for my home and spent $15000 to refurbish the home.I would gave been happy w/ a $250k net offer. They offered me $225k after deducting costs from their $253k offer if the home needed ZERO repairs. Using the internet or " comps" to establish a fair offer without any true knowledge of the home you are reviewing is just ludicrous.. How bad do you need the money???? This firm needs to do their homework!!!!
