| - 1.) I've driven Fords for years, I love them. But this dealer is well below par when it comes to the service department. The first time I brought them my business it was to fix a broken parking break (which with the hills in Vegas is needed when parking a standard transmission). They "repaired" the brake and I was on my way. That evening I parked the car is a busy plaza where I was going to dinner. I engaged the parking break and went into the place to eat. Moments later someone ran in and said my car just rolled down the hill. It barely missed two cars, pedestrians, and stopped on a curb inches from a light pole. When I looked inside the car the parking break was engaged (true I had mistakenly left the car out of gear) but the parking break IF functioning would have made certain the car stayed put. I returned to the dealer the next day where they fixed it the SECOND time around and offered nothing in the way of an apology.
2.) Wanting to give folks a second chance I returned several months later for a 100,000 tune up, check-up, and oil change. I sat their for 4.5 hours, and when I got the car back they hadn't even checked the air pressure in the tires, said no service was needed beyond the oil change and sent me on my way. When I inquired about how odd that it needed nothing, not even a radiator fluid flush (since it was the original fluid from 2006)...they said, "no, everything looks good". I am very confident they did nothing except change the oil and sit the car there for hours on end. What kind of service that is suppose to check everything doesn't even check air pressure in tires. After the fact I found the car did need many things including: new brakes, a signal relay replaced, air pressure increased, air filter, rear diff fluid changed and much more...given it has 100,000 miles on it. Steer clear of Team Ford. Save your time, frustration, and dollars and go elsewhere.
