| - This is another one of those palce3 I'd give 3.5 stars to if I could, but because I can't I think 3 is more fitting. There wasn't anything horrible about the place, at least not for us, but it certainly didn't leave me wanting more. Some of the other reviews complain about the price of the food for what you get; and I sort of agree. The greens and beans appetizer is 9 for what the waitress called "a very small bowl", and she was not kidding. On the other hand I got a grilled chicken sandwich that came with pasta salad (or chips) for $11 and I felt I got what I paid for. I was a decent sized chicken sandwich, with a nice sized bowl of pasta salad.
The taste of the food is the same way. Once again, my chicken sandwich was pretty good. It came on a nice focaccia bread with a fancy aioli and (I think) provolone cheese. I was not a fan of the pasta salad though; it had a funny spice that I was not fond of. Erin loved it though, so.... And if you are a beans and greens lover, these are not the usual. There was sausage and chunks of tomato, which as an Italian I had never seen before, and very little actual greens. It wasn't bad, just not what one expects ordering beans and greens. A large part of the menu looks like wine and cocktails, but I don't drink so I'm no help there.
I don't know, it was just kind of eh.
