  • Honestly, this is the nicest 99 cent store I've ever stepped in. The ones in Los Angeles are super gross so I was expecting to find the same level of ratchetness here in Arizona. When I first walked in, my jaw actually dropped. Tempe's is incredibly organized, well-stocked, and clean. Honestly, if I didn't know better I would have thought I walked into a CVS or even a Target, it's THAT nice. Like way nicer than the Walmart directly next to it. I'm impressed, Tempe. Come here for dirt cheap holiday decor or goodie bags for your next party. Their food storage selection is actually not terrible considering IT'S ONE DOLLAR. (Like, it's not Pyrex level or whatever but if you are on a budget you can definitely find a decent amount of bargains here.) I dig it.
