rev:text	Customer service at the Phillips location of Modern Salon is over the top excellent!!!! This past Wednesday, 7/20/16, I had driven back to Charlotte from PA (second day of a two-day drive from upstate NY). I had a 7:15 pm appointment with Liza at Modern Salon. I also had an interview scheduled for the next day, early afternoon, that I needed to be my best at. I arrived at Modern in Phillips Place, strange that there were no cars in the parking lot for the complex, and everything around looked a bit dark. Went into Modern Salon for my appointment, and the stylist came out to tell me there was no water (hence the reason everyone was gone and the salon was empty). I told her I had an interview the next day, and really needed to get rid of my sparklies. She talked with the manager and they thankfully decided to do my color and cut, and use jugs of water to rinse it out. Kind of cool being the only client in Modern at Phillips Place. Liza did my color and then took me in the back to rinse it out. She apologized numerous times for the coldish water. She did my cut afterward and they then comped my cut for the inconvenience of no water. The vast majority of places would have turned me away due to lack of water. They realized my situation and went many extra miles to make sure I was ready for the next day. I cannot say enough great things about their customer service. If you're not a Modern client, you should be. :) PS Also, their Organic Pure Care hair care line from Italy is amazing!! Particularly for us curly girls. So glad they've brought it to the US!
