  • I don't understand why people always have a hatred for airports. I mean... The airport is working to accommodate a lot of passengers going in and out of the city. If you don't want to deal with the security and the people, either (1) drive or (2) don't travel. I was traveling to and from Los Angeles to Toronto for a wedding. Flew into Toronto Pearson airport at 6am and everything went smoothly. Was able to pass border control and get my rental car with no issues. Flew out of the same airport on a Sunday evening and was super disappointed that the Duty Free store for Ice Wine closed by 7pm. Since there are so many restrictions and additional fees for luggages, I was hoping to leave Canada with a couple of ice wine from the Duty Free. Otherwise, the airport is clean and had plenty of dining options. As usual, leave plenty of time to clear security & border control if you are flying to the US.
