  • Thank You Google! For providing visitors to the Charlotte area, business people, local residents or "new" residents-without internet service; this historic building space, the Philip Carey Bldg, furnished with free wi-fi or connected service to the internet. The location is great and convenient. The Charlotte Lynx Lightrail tracks run along side this bldg; future line to the UpTown areas. The customer service staff here are so welcoming to everyone. They provide one-on-one customer demonstrations of what The Google Fiber service will be providing to the Charlotte-area businesses and residents. This staff is No. 1 in customer service. I have come here almost daily and they treat me like they've known me for a while. So caring and comforting when someone is new to the community and neighborhood.
