  • I can't believe it's been 3 years since I first reviewed Island Auto. Even though I've changed vehicles (I have a Subaru now), changed homes, and changed jobs - there's still only one auto shop in Vegas I trust to take care of car. Why? Because Kuba, the business owner, is straightforward and fair with his pricing, and he takes his job seriously to make sure my loved ones and I are as safe as we can be out there on the road. Last month, he helped me with my 30,000 miles service and I requested my brake pads be changed too. I brought in my car's manual, and while the dealership wanted to charge me more than $500 for the services (not including the brakes!), he did the work for significantly less, and reviewed with me each of the things he checked/changed from the manual. I dropped my car off in the morning, and he later texted me when it was ready to go - how easy is that? Yesterday I unfortunately had to test my brakes out when someone was on his cell phone driving in a parking lot and almost collided with me!! Yep, they sure worked! I was relieved to avoid an accident, and am very grateful to Kuba and Island Auto.
