  • I'm going to set the record straight about this golf course. The previous two ratings are disastrous, but I don't really care. I don't golf. Who chases a tiny, white ball around a neatly mowed lawn for hours on end? Not for me. I'm grading the golf course on its use as a public space. In the winter, no one golfs here, of course, leaving the fields, bridges, river, trees, escarpments to the average taxpayer. Dog owners often congregate under the bridge at the 401 and let their mutts roam free, me included. It's a hidden gem of a ravine when it's not ruined by a good walk spoiled.
