  • This place is your ideal Pittsburgh dive/local bar. Pirates or Pens on the TV, domestic beers on tap, good bar food, salt of the Earth type people. Let's talk about their food. We all know that bars don't make much money on their food. But it's definitely what keeps people coming back. Open kitchen right in the bar, nothing to hide. Good salads, sandwiches, quesadillas. BUT it's their wings that are the big draw. They are the best in the area. Let me say that again, the best in the area.. and it's not even close. Full jumbo wings 75 cents on Wednesday or $1.00 during Pirates or Penguins games, which is like 250 days a year. Nothing at all pretentious about this place. I don't love the smoke, but when the weather is nice enough for the doors to be open you don't even notice.
