some parts are very steep with sharp, loose rocks. heading down was a little scary because the sharp rocks slide down with you...very difficult and dangerous esp if you've never gone hiking before. there are multiple trails to choose from and most are hard and some are definitely hardER.
bring lots of water and snacks (trail mix).
view at the top was amazing! make sure you write on the log book inside the ammo box.
we went late March and the weather was great! not too hot and not too cold. I can't imagine coming here in the middle of summer or winter.
