This review coming late but I really loved this buffet & had to review it. =) I usually eat one buffet per Vegas trip...lately we've done the buffet at the M Resort - the problem is that the line is ridiculously long and it's a bit of a drive so I read about Wicked Spoon & decided to give it a try - LOVED IT!
We tried a ton of food and although some items were not the most fantastic I've ever had, for buffet quality I'd say overall the items were very, very good!
Love for...
-gnocchi w/ lamb ragout
-truffle potatoes
-BBQ shrimp & grits = YUM!
-pork belly fried rice
-mac n cheese bar
-short ribs (Asian & Italian style)
-bone marrow
-cajun seared fish w/ crawfish sauce
-polenta w/ roasted mushrooms
-brussel sprouts w/ bacon
-gelato (about 12-16 flavors)
-chocolate cake lollipops
-build your own strawberry shortcake = GENIUS!
-chocolate covered strawberries = giant section of dessert area & it made me very happy =)
Just ok...
-pad thai
-rotisserie chicken
-roast leg of lamb
-parmesan crusted pork loin
The buffet is found way in the back...as you walk towards the guest elevators, you'll see giant high heel shoes...you'll know that's the right area. =) I loved the layout of the buffet, the presentation of the food in small, individual pots/portions and the fact that this was not traditional buffet food. It definitely had a more "gourmet" feel to it but you were still eating a buffet. For dinner, it was $29.99 which is a good price. When we went about a month ago, it wasn't too crowded but I'm sure more and more people will start discovering this place and it'll get insane - enjoy it while you can & we are definitely coming back.
