S-L-O-W! What a pathetic shame this course is so poorly managed. We played the Mountain Course on 10/23/16 at noon. After taking more than 2 hours 40 minutes to play just the front, we simply gave up. To make matters worse, people who were finishing on 18 were simply jumping back into the "lineup" on hole 10. There was never a Marshall to be found so its just a free for all. This is not an "every seven minute" tee time course, obviously, but management here is doing absolutely nothing to counter the problem that so many players have consistently complained about.
Even the concierge at our hotel apologized when he learned we had chosen Angel Park, stating, "I'm so sorry when guests choose Angel Park as they as they always return disappointed. You would have been better off choosing literally any other course in Vegas".
I call it a "shame" because I believe it has the potential to be an acceptable course at its price point. The design is fine and the conditions were good for the area. The greens were slow but consistent.
One bright note: Joey from Visalia, CA, the Starter, was such a cool guy. We enjoyed a couple of long chats and appreciated his personality a great deal. He is an asset to the course.
