  • I lived right across the street, and came here for breakfast on days when I was too lazy to drive down to the M. But a steak, eggs, and toast for $3 can't ever be beat. The poker room runs a 1-2 no limit game on a good day, so it's not great for grinding, but they regulars play pretty bad. The gaming tables have low minimums but good blackjack rules for the players, and the comps are very generous. It's just that there aren't too many great places to use them. The steakhouse is pretty good, but the buffet is only fair, and there's not really a fun place to drink or hang out. As a locals place, GVR or the M are probably better bets. The upside is there's plenty of local and family things to do that are cheap. There's a movie theater, a bowling alley that often has $1 drinks and $1 games, even a barber shop and spa with great rates. And the liquor store is by far the cheapest in the area. If you don't want to run down to Town Square for fun, it's got some cool things to do. There's a small nightclub where I saw an 80's cover band that was pretty good as well. If you're into horses, their equestrian ring is almost arena-sized, and I once saw some Big East basketball there as my alma mater (USF) played in a Christmas tournament. But otherwise the touring acts they get are past their prime at best. Perfectly serviceable if you're in the neighborhood, but not a destination by any means.
