  • If you are planning to travel, DO NOT fly with Porter. I flew to NYC (Newark) recently, and my flight was delayed 2 hours without reason. Even though that was inconvenient, I understood that happens sometimes. However, things got worse. My flight back to Toronto was cancelled due to weather and I was bumped onto a plane the next day. I wasn't informed of this until 10:30PM the night before my flight. It gets worse - at 8PM the night before my next flight, I got another email informing me that my new flight was cancelled. That's 2 cancelled flights. At no time did Porter offer me compensation or an apology. It completely ruined my vacation and I was required to pay out of pocket for a hotel room for an extra night. I will NEVER fly with Porter again.
