I grew up in Texas and like to think I know a good BBQ, This place is not it.
Their "lunch special" (11.99$) comes with two fatty slices of tough brisket, served luke-warm on a store bought bun. I had a tiny cornbread muffin for .50$ and substandard mac and cheese. The food was "meh" at best. Below par sides I could forgive, but the BBQ being bad? That is sacriledge! The brisket was tough, had no flavor and was about 30% fat by volume, which means they hadn't cooked it long enough for the fat to melt through the meat (perhaps why it had the lack of flavor?).
I'd give this place a hard pass.
