  • We have three dogs and live very close (within walking distance). I really like the vets here. Dr. Thornton and Dr. Ruiz are fantastic and take extra time with all of our pets. Unfortunately, I am considering a switch to a new vet due to some issues with the other staff here, particularly one or two individuals. As pet owners know, everything is usually not addressed in the initial appointment. I've had quite a few bad experiences with poor follow up, bad communication and the like that have caused my pets to suffer. When a pet had a recurring condition, it shouldn't take 24-48 hours for a prescription refill. When the vet specifically calls you and asks for a urine sample that they'll test in house right away, it shouldn't take days to get the results particularly if an animal is not feeling well. I'm torn because these vets, as I said, are great. But the lack of consistency and lack of speed is frustrating.
