* Facility *
Newly opened and new machines. That's what drew me to this location since it's close to my home. The width of the building is quite narrow but the depth is long.
AC is broken
I don't understand why the air conditioner has been broken for a week. It's really gross to work out there with new ac and a stench of body odour hits you the minute you tap into the building.
Washrooms / showers are coed and one person, you'll just need to lock yourself but the first washroom's lock was broken.
Staff is not on duty 24/7. That made me a bit nervous especially how there's a lot of guys working out building muscles.
* Classes *
Most of the classes were led by women trainers and participants were 100% female except for yoga (taught by a male instructor).
Spinning (Tues)
The instructor was good and motivating, not mean/pushy to work harder. I liked her but it was once again very uncomfortable to be spinning while there wasn't any AC present. The fans didn't help circling moist air in the classroom.
Yoga (Tues)
Decent yoga moves. I guess yoga isn't my thing as I found it awkward to do moves which I wouldn't mind doing in my own home instead in front of others...
Kickboxing (Weds)
Instructor was nice and pop music was played.
Zumba (Weds)
I'm not sure if this instructor had personal problems, but she brought her kid to class. Showed up late and was half-assing the routine. I ended up following people in the front row who knew the moves more than the instructor.
* Price *
Charges $50 for a the fob key and got a student discount (did not ask for a student card) where I was only committed to a few months. I'm not into working out all of the time so I wanted to try it out.
* Overall *
I personally would not recommend this place. Towel service is not available.
