  • So moving day came, booked the day off work, booked the elevator at the new place, scheduled times for the new people moving into the old place etc. Get a phone call an hour before moving time from carefree movers saying their truck had problems and it would be too expensive to rent a truck and they would have to move me the next day. REALLY?? Like that's even an option?? Eventually found another mover, but they charged me a lot extra because of the late notice - they had to rent an extra truck etc. Don't trust these guys.
