  • I went to the modern body for my first massage ever, i was pretty nervous and of course didnt know what to expect. I booked my appointment online and was about 15 minutes early for my appointment. I found the location to be very easy to find with clear signage out front which was very welcoming. When arrived the owner was finishing up a massage so i waited in the reception area which I found very tasteful. I got a very good impression of this place as it was very neat and tidy and had a very nice and relaxing aroma. When she was done the owner came out, greeted me in a friendly manner and asked me to fill out some paperwork. Once i was done she went over what i had filled out and asked me questions about where i was experiencing pain and what areas i thought she should focus on which made me feel more in control of my massage and thus much more comfortable. She lead me to a private room which was yet again tastefully decorated and competed with a nice warm fireplace and yet another pleasant aroma and told me she would give me a few minutes to get undressed and to lay down. I was already so relaxed by the time came in i was falling asleep. She then explained to me exactly what she was going to do and as she worked walked me through what she was going to do next and was very careful to only uncover the spots that she was working on as she got to them. I found the massage itself very relaxing and she made me very comfortable. When it was done i felt very relaxed. She then instructed me to drink plenty of water the day of and the day after as many people new to massage get headaches. Once i was finished getting dressed i met her back in the reception area where she offered me some bottled water and we completed the transaction. Over all i had a wonderful experience and would recommend to friends and family. I will be going back again.
