| - For over a year now I have oogled over pictures of food from Nami and today I went and tried my first tSoynami. My expectations were definitely met! I have been trying to stay away from dairy lately, but sometimes vegan treats just aren't that good. Not the case at Nami!
The location was easy to find, but parking was horrible. I think I parked illegally and almost hit a wall and a few cars trying to get in and out of a spot. But that is my only complaint! The place is smaller than I had anticipated, but it was cute! Not too crowded, but there was a steady flow of people. I liked both the interior and exterior of the restaurant.
At first I was worried because the tsoynamis weren't written on the chalk board, but then I thankfully found a menu. There were so many options! A lot of gluten free choices as well which is so great. I certainly had trouble choosing. Also they had some ready made treats on display which looked tasty. Some kind of coconut donut, yum!
After much deliberation, I settled on the Haystack Attack. I got half chocolate half vanilla. It came with chocolate, gluten free pretzels, rice marshmallow, and a rice cereal. It was very very tasty! Very sweet and I couldn't finish it, but I loved it and would totally come back to try something new. Also now I'm looking at the Sunday brunch pictures and I'm drooling over them.
Another positive, the people working there were nice, didn't seem pretentious, which sometimes people who work at places like that kind of are ha. Very awesome, I recommend!
