  • I'm sorry to say that we've needed two surgeries in less than 8 weeks. The upside, for you, is that unlike most patients, I've had two opportunities to observe the staff and evaluate the facility. Short story: Come here if you need outpatient surgery. You will be completely satisfied! I have been twice. Long story: This facility is, for us, out of network. I assumed that was a deal breaker. Rachel, the Surgery Center Administrator, took our information, contacted our insurance carrier and worked out all the details. In the end, I simply paid the $250.00 deductible of an in network facility. I was very pleased to begin with, but the experience got better and better. We walked into a warm, inviting waiting room and were greeted by the front office staff. These women were wonderful, in helping through the mountains of paperwork and making us feel comfortable and welcome. They have water and a Keurig for you. The pre-op nurses were kind and helped my wife through her anxiety and the post-op nurses were very attentive. They monitored her pain and offered medicine to make her feel better. Honestly, I hope that you never need surgery, but if you do, come to the Sunset Ridge Surgery Center and relax, you'll be in good hands.
