  • I took my son to Colair today for a last-minute appt because his regular hairstylist (at a different salon) was sick and had to cancel his appt. We leave tomorrow for a vacation and I wanted my son to have a fresh, short haircut. My issue with this place, which is why I gave it only 1 star, was that when I called this morning to schedule an appt, I asked what they charge for a child's haircut and I told the woman on the phone that my son is 11. She told me the barber charges more and the barber did not have any openings today, but my son could see one of the regular cosmetologists and they only charge $15 for a child's haircut. I made the appt, we arrived a little early, Heather took him right away and when he was finished and I went to pay they charged me $25 for his haircut. If you charge $25 for a child's haircut, be honest about it when people ask. The bait and switch for a much higher price is NOT acceptable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COLAIR BEAUTY LOUNGE--THEY'RE NOT HONEST ABOUT PRICING!
