My father and I have been coming here for as long as I can remember.. We were in today looking for ammo, which again they didn't have - they never have his in stock and he checks regularly.. We got a few other things instead but let me first say - equipment and quality wise, this place is amazing. But the 1 star is SOLELY for the staff! I'd give it negative if I could. We were in around 530 and he wanted to make sure he had the correct amount of points in rewards on his card at the customer service right when you walk in before going completely in.. There was a blonde girl with glasses and young looking guy with a light orangish hair color behind the counter.. He was messing around on the phone and bullshitting with her for about 5 minutes.. Mind you my father was standing directly at the counter waiting to be helped. He was very friendly once the blonde came up and said "did you need something?" Which again.. Fucking rude! Then he kindly asked her if she could check the points and got a "yup" and that was all she said even after he thanked her. Then the man who checked him out.. At a register closer to the customer service desk - a tall man with brown hair and glasses too.. Not friendly at all! My father tried making joke when the man asked for his email and my dad said "no I don't have an email sorry, I'm old school and don't care for electronics" in a completely joking and laughing tone.. The guy didn't acknowledge him at all. He literally started to ring his things up, gave him a total and when we left my Dad said thank you and the guy said nothing. I've worked in customer service for a very long time and I have NEVER seen so many unpleasant and unfriendly people in one building! Then again I haven't been to a Hillary Clinton rally either otherwise I'd stand corrected. But this was ridiculous.. Just because you have a minimum wage job because you couldn't get something else doesn't mean you need to treat people with a minimum wage attitude!!!! We will be taking our business to Sportsman's now that it's finally opened by us. You might want to retrain your staff, those 3 particular individuals on customer service and attitude. Would it kill them to smile to someone and make the customers experience more personable and welcoming!? Jesus Christ.. And let me add, while looking for the ammo, an employee was standing there, even made eye contact and my father said to me "I wonder if they have ----" whatever brand he needed/needs.. The man couldn't walk away quick enough. So over this place!
