This is probably the nicest "dive bar" I've ever been to. I've passed The Garage Bar a dozen times, but never went in until a friend invited me to his stand-up comedy show there. I wouldn't call this a "date place," but I definitely would take my husband or some pals there for another comedy show or for some affordable drinks and wings. It looks a little bland from the outside, but the menu is surprisingly large (I liked the chicken sliders and mozzarella cheese wedges!), the game room in the back is HUGE (it includes two pool tables, four dart boards, and SKI BALL!!!), and the bartenders were very attentive. Oh, and make sure to play some Prince music on the TouchTunes jukebox - the ladies serving drinks will love you for it!
