My response to Bruce's comments::
I wasn't insinuating that your inspector was to do research on anything. I was merely pointing out that there are several construction defects that exist on the property, and nothing was mentioned or noted by the inspector during or after his inspection. He found nothing wrong with the house, and according to him, the house was in great shape. I didn't find out about the pending litigation until a few weeks after the inspection, just days before we were scheduled to close.
So does this mean you have no interest in coming out and looking at the damage to the frame and front door?
