  • I've heard good things about Rocket Burger and I was excited to finally try it. I like to support smaller local businesses. Unfortunately it was a let down for me and my daughter, and did not live up to my expectations. On a positive note, the teriyaki burger I ordered was tasty and the fries were good. It appears that the owner or manager haven't visited or represented the store in the while based the interior condition. My daughter wanted a hot dog and was told we are out of hot dogs (there is a Bashas 600 feet away). She settled for a burger which she did not finish. They were out of ketchup in the pump container. When I asked the worker for more, he left for 5 minutes and never returned (think it was the end of his shift and he just left). Another employee assisted (thanks). The huge refrigerator that holds all the specialty soda pops was broken so no cold ones for you. Plus the wood around it looked unfinished and hanging off. Some items on the floor next to it as well (bottles and boxes). One soda selection on the vend was out of order. The Slush Puppy choices was out of order as well. The booths had tears in the seating portion. I really had high hopes for this burger joint but it fell short in my mind. I think a good thorough cleaning of the store and a few repairs would help.
