  • Taking kids to Vegas is a little like winning a gift certificate to Denny's. Sure, it's good, but expectations are significantly lowered, and anything positive will really stand out. My cousin recently got hitched at the MGM Grand, and since it was a family affair, my bride of 15 years and I found ourselves with three littluns in tow. Traipsing a 9, 5, and 3 year old through the smoky casino is a little too Proletariat even for me, and while Vegas as become more family-friendly since the mob ran this joint, I still shudder when I see people pushing strollers by roulette tables. Nevertheless, the Signature at MGM Grand alleviated a lot of this trouble! About a five minute walk by connected long hallway to the MGM Grand, the Signature property has no casino, no smoking, and reasonably priced suites with kitchens and living rooms. The view is... well, the view was of the golf attraction and the airport mostly, but who's complaining? We got the suite for a steal, and room credits got everyone a free room service breakfast out of the deal. Gated valet parking kept us feeling safe, and the adjoining suites ( in the foyer behind the main double hallway door) let the kids roam between family rooms. Starbucks and dining options here, too. Yes, you could adjust your activities to accommodate older patrons, sure... but if you have to bring kiddos to Sin City, then do yourselves and everyone else a favor and stay in a place like this. Your kids will be happier, and when your three year old's Marvel heroes shirt doesn't smell like Camel Crush from osmosis, you'll be happier too.
