| - We've been there twice in the last two months. Each time the PA was amazing. Very caring, supportive and knowledgeable. The support staff and nurses are not caring at all. They spend more time talking about their social life than taking care of the patients. When I was sick, check in was a cold experience, but when I saw the PA, he was very friendly. When I was sent to the front desk to pick up my prescription, I watched them talk for 10 minutes, ignoring me, with my paperwork sitting on the printer. I know this because she finally looked over, saw it and handed it to me.
Yesterday, we went in with my wife, who was very ill. Same experience. PA was fantastic. Support staff was not. We asked for a place for her to lay down, a barf bag because she was sick and a pillow. Each time, they were more bothered that they had to stop talking and help a patient. Even when we left, the two at the front were talking away and offered us no assistance or even a caring word.
That night, my wife became worse. She threw up all night. We called this morning at 9 a.m. to see what we should do next. Called dispatch and they connected me to the front desk. The lady at the front desk ASKED ME HOW I GOT HER NUMBER. She was more bothered that dispatch forwarded my call to her without getting the patient name first. She showed little concern for my wife. She said the PA would call me back. It's been three hours and no call. We will be heading to the emergency room soon instead.
If you want a great PA, NextCare provides. But they really need to address their support staff.
We won't be returning.
