  • So before you read the bad reviews by people who are all of a sudden ice cream connoisseurs, don't come here with high expectations. Come here for the tasty treats, the random concoctions & the fun vibes. I've been here a couple of time. I can't comment on the coffee, but I've had 2 different "pimped out cones" & they were fantastic. On our visit to Sweet Jesus, I got the Krusty the Cone. Which is essentially soft serve & cotton candy. I've never had anything like it. It was delicious & probably one of my favourite ice creams I've ever had. There was a bit of a line up but it moved fast. The service was efficient & the staff was friendly. Second visit I got the birthday cake cone. Again, vanilla soft serve.. But this one came with chunks of birthday cake, sprinkles & a lit candle. That was a fun touch for sure. The cake bites were unfortunately dry. For the novelty of it, it was decent. Wouldn't try it again though. Definitely check this place out. There really isn't anything like it within the area. As much as I love soft serve ice cream, Sweet Jesus is really known for their paletas. My only advice is to not come here on weekends or during peak times, as there tends to be a massive line up.
