| - I was referred here by my primary care doctor. The soonest appointment that was available was about a month out. So I set that appointment. In the month I was waiting, I was contacted multiple times to provide medical and insurance information, which I did. Received a phone call the day before my appointment confirming and verifying my information. So on the day of the appointment, I had a babysitter to watch my son and proceeded to drive an hour to the appointment, which may not seem like a big deal, but when you are fighting a painful and life threatening health problem it is a big deal. Get there, start filling out paperwork and am told they don't take my insurance, but I could pay for treatment, scans, surgery out of pocket. I'm a single mom on disability, I do not have hundreds of thousands of dollars. Not to mention, they repeatedly told me they accepted my insurance. Thanks a lot.
